A session by Amy Aussieker, Gena McKinley, Kara Mertz and Divya Sridhar
Envision Charlotte, Austin Resource Recovery, City of Boulder & Cleveland Neighborhood Progress

Speaker expertise

As Executive Director for Envision Charlotte, Amy is responsible for developing strategic plans for community outreach, fundraising, and partner relationships. Amy has used her two decades of expertise in strategic planning, relationship management, marketing and creative problem solving to help Envision Charlotte become a global model of urban sustainability.

Representatives from cities across the United States discuss their plans to pursue circular economy initiatives at the local level. Hear from Boulder, CO; Charlotte, NC; Cleveland, OH; and Austin, TX about why their cities are working towards circularity, their goals, and the opportunities and challenges they are facing. How can cities in Indiana benefit from their experiences in the process?

Prior to attending this session, we recommend viewing the Circular Economy for the Circle City session.
