About this session

Glass recycling is a critical part of Indina's circular economy, but often isn't captured for recycling due to various challenges. This session examines how Indiana can recover more glass by investing in infrastructure at materials recovery facilities, glass collection programs at the local level, increasing glass processing capacity, and introducing policies that provide incentives to divert glass from landfills and incinerators.

Thank you to our Main Event Session Education sponsor, Strategic Materials.

Strategic Materials processes recycled glass and plastic for use in a wide array of products, creating efficiencies for their customers while conserving earth's natural resources. Strategic Materials got its start in glass recycling in 1896 as the Bassichis Company. Throughout its 100 year+ history, Strategic Materials has focused on creating value for its customers through innovation and customer improvement.
